Recipe - Asian Beef
1/3 cup chopped green onions
2 Tbs brown sugar
3 Tbs low-sodium soy sauce
2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp minced ginger
1 lb flank steak, trimmed
Cooking spray
Preheat the broiler. Combine the first 7 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk. Place a steak on the broiler rack coated with cooking spray. Pour soy mixture over the steak. Broil the steak 3 inches from the heat for 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Let stand 5 minutes. Thinly slice across the grain.
